On January 11 the sisters, volunteers and donors of Presentation Learning Center gathered at San Miguel Church in Watts to celebrate a Mass of thanksgiving for the 20th anniversary of Presentation Learning Center. Bishop Joseph Sartoris, along with several other priests from the parish and wider area, celebrated Mass. A statue of Nano Nagle was carried up in the entrance procession, followed by the Watts friends of Nano, who each carried a lighted lantern. Annually, a service of love and remembrance is held for those grieving the loss of a loved one for whom Boulger Funeral Home, Fargo has provided services in the past year. This year members of the Sacred Heart Community attended as they grieved the loss of three of their members: Sisters Irene Schuster, Consilia Duggan, and Geraldine Steinbach. Boulger Funeral Home has been providing services for the Presentation Sisters for many, many years. On November 21, 2019, Sister Julie Hurtado boarded a plane in Los Angeles, Calif., to begin her journey to Bethlehem, Palestine. She was responding to a call from congregational leadership to ministry at the Presentation mission in Bethlehem. In Our Way of Life (constitutions) it states: "Our participation in the congregational community nurtures a global consciousness and a spirit of solidarity.
