San Francisco: Journal with Jesus
by Sister Helen Matosich Beginning in April, a new entry will be available on our website, http://www.presentationsisterssf.org under the title, Journal with Jesus. It is an 86-page book recording journal entries of two women during a time of spiritual night dreams for an older woman and a time of transition for her daughter. They are actual conversations of the heart between these two women and Jesus. “An excellent prayer tool helping the believer know the heart of Jesus in everyday events. It deeply touched me and renewed my faith.” - Fr. John the…
International Nano Nagle Commission
by Presentation Sister Betty Rae Lee Presentation Sisters Veronica Casey (NZ), Betty Rae Lee (NL) and Anne Lyons (Ireland), along with Margaret Rosair, friend of Nano (India), were appointed to the International Nano Nagle Commission in 2015. We are mandated to facilitate creative ways of making Nano known, loved and proclaimed as a woman for our time now in collaboration with our sisters, friends of Nano, co-workers and students. I was privileged to attend the Nano Nagle Commission Meeting in Mosgiel, New Zealand, in February 2016. Despite long travel and arduous work, these…
Vocation Service Experience at Lantern Light

This year celebrated the 10th year of the Collaborative Vocation/Service Experience in New Orleans. In the most recent years we have joined with our sisters in ministry – those at the Lantern Light Ministry and Sister Mary Lou Specha initially at Café Reconcile and now in ministry with Sister Julie Marsh at Hotel Hope.…

The sisters certainly enjoyed decorating them. No two cookies looked alike and their labors produced a festive array of Valentine treats frosted with shades of the rainbow and topped with sprinkles and candies! The trio also brought prizes for a raffle. After the tea that followed the work session, four sisters delivered more than…
UNION US PROVINCE: Fashion Show Fundraiser at Presentation Learning Center

Presentation Learning Center in Watts held its annual fashion show fundraiser on Saturday, March 12. The theme was "Rock 'n Roll," which delighted the 240 people in attendance. An excellent Elvis impersonator started the show with a great performance which had everyone screaming and jumping up like teenagers! A delicious lunch followed, catered by In-N-Out Burger, which has a huge fan base in Southern California. Twenty-five sewing students at Presentation Learning Center modeled their 50s outfits, which they had designed and sewn themselves during this school year. A silent auction and basket raffle…
