Presentation Learning Center, Watts, Calif., held its annual friend-raiser and fashion show on March 24. The theme was “A Country Hoe-down.” The ambience and clothing modeled by our sewing students reflected that theme. Everyone enjoyed the line dancing, music and southern food, as well as applauding the heroic efforts by our students who modeled their creations with pride.
This year’s event was dedicated to Presentation Sister Mary Sullivan who went to heaven suddenly and unexpectedly on December 29. Her 15-year presence at the Learning Center and in our local community is greatly missed. We know that she is with us in spirit and guiding us from heaven.
