On September 17, 2016, the Presentation Sisters of New Windsor, N.Y., held their second annual fall Serving with the Sisters Service Day. This year we assisted Habitat for Humanity of Greater Newburgh with final preparations and cleanup of two newly constructed homes awaiting their new families and dedication at the end of October.
On Monday October 10, 2016, the Presentation Sisters held their first fall Serving with the Sisters Service Day in Fitchburg, Mass. Sisters, associates and students from Fitchburg University campus ministry, Holy Cross and St. Bernard’s Central Catholic School transformed the playroom, library and main gathering space.
We ended each of these service days with pizza, prayer and processing with sisters who were unable to join us for the service projects.
