Sister Rosaria Acton was honored posthumously on Saturday, September 24, 2016, by the St. John Paul II Catholic Schools Network in Fargo, N.D. She was the recipient of the Mike and Karen Hofer Deacon Award. This award recognizes select graduates, parents, staff and friends who exemplify the ideals of a deacon (servant) through extensive service and outstanding contributions of time, talent and or/treasure to Shanley High School of the St. John Paul II Catholic Schools and who reflect honorably on the John Paul II Network and its mission.
The award was accepted by Sister Paula Ringuette on behalf of Sister Rosaria Acton during the ninth annual dinner and ceremony for the hall of fame induction and the Mike and Karen Hofer Deacon Award presentation. Thirteen Sisters attended the event.
