{"id":4426,"date":"2023-12-17T12:07:19","date_gmt":"2023-12-17T18:07:19","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/pbvmconference.org\/?p=4426"},"modified":"2023-12-20T12:09:40","modified_gmt":"2023-12-20T18:09:40","slug":"wine-women-in-the-new-evangelization","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/pbvmconference.org\/wine-women-in-the-new-evangelization\/","title":{"rendered":"WINE: Women in the New Evangelization"},"content":{"rendered":"<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The Aberdeen Presentation Sisters partnered with their local Catholic parishes and pastors to offer an Advent Reflection Day on December 1 &#8211; 2. \u00a0In anticipation and preparation for a joyful and hope-filled Advent, over 140 women attended the gathering where they listened and prayed with the theme, <strong>\u201cGaze Upon Jesus\u201d with Mary in the<\/strong> <strong>Gospels.<\/strong> <em>We Magnify the Lord with Mary for the Lord is doing wonderous deeds with and for us!<\/em><\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Aberdeen Presentation Sister Janet Schumacher and Cojourner Brenda Fouts were integral in planning this event.\u00a0 Inspiring speakers included WINE foundress Kelly Wahlquist and Alyssa Bormes, who is an Aberdeen alum of the Presentation teachers in Aberdeen. Retreatants commented on the special day and inspiring event to begin the Advent season.
