Sister Jean Ann Meyer’s Reflection
Care for environment is not only a work of mercy that shows that we are compassionate and thinking people but it is also a work of justice. As an old Native American saying goes: We do not inherit the land from our fathers and mothers; we borrow it from our children and grandchildren. We can respond to the Pope’s call to care for our home by individual acts of conservation and joining organizations to voice concern and act together. We have choices as to what we do, but act we must.
