Over 40 non-profits in the Aberdeen, S.D., area gathered on Monday, November 27 for an inaugural Happy Generosity Hour. The gathering was held in honor of Giving Tuesday, and invited the Aberdeen community to come, discover and learn about these non-profits and how they could volunteer or assist in these many different areas.
Barb Grosz, Presentation Sisters employee, also served on the steering committee for the gathering. “We were very pleased with this first event and had a great response from our non-profits. Attendees of the event spoke very highly of the gathering and enjoyed visiting each of the booths and learning more about them. We are already making plans to do this again in 2024.”
