Back to NewsOn April 23, 2016, the Presentation Associates of San Lorenzo hosted the associates from St. Robert’s parish in San Bruno. Susan Bieschke, president of the San Lorenzo associates, conducted the meeting. Susan’s group has been without a Presentation Sister presence in the group since 2013, but continues to carry out the work of Nano Nagle to their community through various needs in their area and around the world. Susan’s mom, Pat Brown, has been involved since 1950.
Sister Ita Cleary and the St. Robert’s associates were treated to an individual gift of a frame and prayer as well as a delicious lunch. The meeting was concluded with each associate passing on the Nano Nagle lantern and praying, “May you, like this lantern, be a light in the darkness.”
